However you are celebrating the upcoming holiday, we hope it is full of laughter, love, and lots of good food! We will be taking some time off ourselves and will see you back here on Monday, December 28th.
We love seeing the fun holiday posts that everyone in our community creates. Sometimes the hustle takes over leaving no time for holiday crafts, gift wrapping, and table preparing until the very last minute. Good thing lots of our friends have done the heavy lifting for us.

At Close To My Heart, we love creating beautiful artwork to celebrate and preserve life’s most precious moments. We also love sharing inspiration, for crafting and for life, on our blog. Like scrapbooking, blogging is an art form, and the two share many parallels.

Alt wouldn’t be Alt without some delicious meals. On Wednesday Night, attendees will gather in intimate groups at sponsor-hosted dinners all over the Salt Lake Valley. We will be opening dinner sign-ups on December 21st (that’s today!). Once you receive a newsletter with the appropriate link to sign up, you will have the opportunity to see the options that are available to choose from. You then have three days to think about what option is right for you and your business plan, coordinate with friends, and make a selection.

It is so fascinating to see the differences, the similarities, and the way that people went about their workday. It stuck in my head as I went about my workday, and I could not stop trying to compare my situation with theirs. Who did I match? Was I being productive? What would my day wheel look like if I mapped it out?
In June we opened our Summer Conference with four speakers. It wasn’t a panel. It was four stand-alone speakers. Four internet powerhouses. Four women. Each one with a brilliant message.
And it turns out, that Opening Keynote was so good, that before it had even ended, the decision was already made: we would invite another four amazing women to open our Winter Conference as well.
Would you like to meet them? We are delighted and honored to introduce the Alt Winter 2016 Opening Keynote Speakers
